Maison Margiela Thinks You Need "Destroyed" Sneakers

In the "Sneaker brands out here thinking you're stupid" category, we won't even mention the nominees because this is a clean sweep. Maison Margiela has made available a rather broken down version of its Future shoe. That's about as accommodating as I'm getting in describing these.

The shoe itself, supposedly made in Italy of what was once perhaps the finest leathers, gets the "heavy distressing" treatment. That's boutique-speak for we cut your shoes up now pay us please thank you. The upper also includes a padded collar, which doesn't seem like it held up in what looks like an actual attack on its life.

This PSNY x Air Jordan XII Could Be Dropping This Summer

If it isn't broken, don't fix it... And these are views shared with the good brothers and sisters of Public School NY and the folks at Jordan Brand when it comes their monochromatic collaborations on the Air Jordan XII. This year, an 'Anthracite' PSNY x Air Jordan XII restock went down, while a 'Wheat' sample of the sneaker leaked to the public and, 'Olive' and 'Bourdeaux' colorways of the kicks surfaced.

After being teased for quite some time now, Maxwell Osbourne and Dao-Yi Chow of PSNY alongside Jordan Brand have decided to mass produce the 'Wheat' rendition of the kicks. So, New York sneakerheads you're in luck... You no longer have to bust the Timbs out during the summer months because the PSNY x Air Jordan XII will be dropping this summer!

The kicks featuring an earthy wheat hue in nubuck with matching rope laces and gum bottom outsole can be yours in the coming months. Unfortunately, there's no official release date set as of yet but they will drop some time this summer for a retail price tag of $300. These new images courtesy of Coltrane Curtis, do have us wondering what's up with the pink hue sole unit though. Stick with SneakerWatch as details unfold and we'll have an update available for you in the near future. Until then, drop your thoughts on the sneaker in the comment section.

Adidas Readies a 'Triple White' NMD R2 for Summer

The adidas NMD R2 has yet to reach the fame and acclaim its predecessor did in the sneaker world. But it's looking like adidas has just the remedy to get this shoe on track.

The adidas NMD R2 set to release in a 'Triple White' colorway in the very near future. The new addition of adidas' top casual running shoe takes on this all-white look with a Primeknit upper and crisp white TPU detailing. The only part of the shoe not done in clean white is the black heel tab. The shoe is finished off with white laces, outsole, and Boost mid-sole.

There is no official word on when these shoes will be released but they are probably going to be most sneakerheads favorite colorway of the NMD R2. Expect this shoe to hit retailers right when the weather heats up for summer. Keep it locked to SneakerWatch for more news and updates on this shoe and more.

The Air Jordan I Mid 'New Love' originally dropped in 2007 as a apart of the 'New Love/Old Love' Pack and grew to become a coveted colorway throughout the sneaker realm. Detailed Look at the Nike Flyknit Racer 'Be True'

With so many social issues taking place in the world, there are many brands that make sure to do their part to help create change. Nike has been at the forefront of various causes throughout the years and they have no plans on slowing down. Like they do every year, the brand will be releasing a special "Be True" Collection, which is inspired by the LGBT community. Various silhouettes get this treatment every year and this time we take a look at the Flyknit Racer that will be included.

Images have popped up of the shoe which is sporting a variety of colors throughout. Flyknit handles the base to help achieve the lightweight feel and is covered in black and white tones for most of the upper. The Nike logo is done in Rainbow tones, while the phrase "Be True" can be found on the tongues to help complete the theme. There is no word yet on when exactly these will land, but you should expect to see them in the coming weeks. Keep it locked to SneakerWatch for all updates on this release.

This Nike Air Foamposite One Could Be A Holiday Release

A sneaker that's close to being indestructible, introduced and worn by one of the NBA's greatest, and has become a timeless design and classic in its own right deserves to be celebrated during its inaugural years. Nike Air Foamposite OneNike Air Force 1 Ultra Flyknit LowNike Air Max 2016Nike Air Max 95Nike Air VaporMax Just because the Swoosh has decided to drop bombs on us with the Nike Air Foamposite One dropping in OG colorways, doesn't mean that the brand shouldn't capitalize on the 20th anniversary year by introducing new colorways of the classic to us. For instance, the sneaker you see pictured above is currently a Foamposite sample but could potentially see mass production and a release sometime during this holiday season. The kicks take on a Purple hue for the grooved shell along with what appears to be lightening-esque or underwater graphics. Violet hues also reach the tongue pull tab and embroidered Nike branding while a icy translucent outsole round out the sample Foams. With images like these leaking, it's quite possible that the Swoosh could be saving these joints to close out the year with. Let us know if the sneaker is a good look or not in the comment section.
